• Birth Details: Name, date of birth, time of birth, place of birth

• Payment Information: Processed securely by Razorpay — we do not store card details
• Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, AI questions asked (anonymised)
• Device Information: Browser type, IP address (for security purposes)

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

• Generate your Vedic birth chart (kundali) and astrological predictions
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Improve our AI model (cosmiq-jyotish) using anonymised question-answer pairs
• Send important service updates (not marketing, without consent)
• Comply with legal obligations under Indian law

3. DATA STORAGE & SECURITY

All data is stored on servers located in India (E2E Networks, Delhi) in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

• Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS 1.3)
• Passwords and API keys are never stored in plain text
• Server access is restricted to SSH key authentication only
• Regular security updates and fail2ban protection active

4. DATA SHARING

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Razorpay: Payment processing (RBI regulated)
• VedAstro: Astrological calculations (birth data only, no personal identifiers)
• Legal authorities: Only when required by Indian law

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, you have the right to:

Birth chart data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time. Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by Indian tax law.
